A rare glimpse into the typical Tibetan Monastery Kitchen. There is little ventilation in the common kitchen and black soot over time covers everything. The air is like breathing in a heavy industrial area. The monk is drinking from a traditional wooden Tibetan tea cup. NPOs and large companies like Bosch are working in Tibet and Nepal to make the kitchen cooking methods more clean. The bad air is blamed for the short life span. This is good and this picture soon be a picture in history.
