19th C. Long Tibetan Nambu Tigma Monastery Runner Antique Textile Art. May not be another full length aisle runner in the world. This is the first one I have ever seen.

Nambu is the tibetan word for this woven wool style and the tigma for the tie and dye process that creates these crosses. Crosses in Tibetan Buddhism are similar to the swastika. It signifies good luck and well being.
