|Early 20th C. Tibetan apron textile Pillow Cover
I buy old vegetable dyed aprons when ever I find them! If they are not in great shape I cut them up and make pillow covers, rugs, mats.
Early 20th C. Tibetan Apron Blanket of Vegetable dyes. Still common today is the Tibetan Apron worn by married women. Generally speaking they are store bought today. On occasion I see village women weaving them on a loom, they weave in traditional method using chemically dyed wool. A Tibetan apron uses traditional contrasting colors.
