Antique 19th C. Bhutanese Tibetan Tigma Ceremonial Coat. Silk red and yellow border, nice strong coat. Maybe of some importance, rare to find and in such great shape.

Nambu is the tibetan word for this woven wool style and the tigma for the tie and dye process that creates these crosses. Crosses in Tibetan Buddhism are similar to the swastika. It signifies good luck and well being.
