Mid 20th C. Nambu Tigma Horse Saddle A well used chemical green horse blanket. A good example of a chemical, 60 years old, blanket. Still hand woven.

Nambu is the tibetan word for this woven wool style and the tigma for the tie and dye process that creates these crosses. Crosses in Tibetan Buddhism are similar to the swastika. It signifies good luck and well being.
