Early 20th C. Antique textile art, Tibetan Yak Wool Small Rug. There is some chemical dyes used that have run abit within the center. The design woven in this rug is very difficult to find, it was time consuming and took an expert weaver to make the buddhist symbols, and animal motifs. The border is yak wool and thicker. A conservative guess at age would be roughly 80-100 years old. In blankets the animal motifs are the most difficult to find and most valuable.
