20th C. Antique Tibetan Monastery Double sided Wood Ink Block. It may be older. Nicely carved and seems to have been used. This has nice symmetry, using large Tibetan characters at the bottom and four simplistic mandalas. Woodblocks by my definition are carved pieces of wood used to apply ink and make a print. Tibetans used woodblocks to make manuscript, flags, thangkas. It was essential in mass producing text or picture.
